About the Project
In an ongoing effort to provide quality wireless service, Verizon Wireless has identified your community as one that will benefit from improved network coverage.
Milestone Towers is proposing a wireless telecommunications facility at Belmont Interchange or at the junction of Route 7 and Route 901.
The proposal is for a 150-foot monopole and will include ground equipment required to operate the facility.
This equipment will be located at the base of the structure in a secure fenced area. Verizon Wireless will be the first wireless carrier to locate on the proposed tower.
Update #8: Milestone Towers will go before the Planning Commission at an upcoming work session – date TBD. Please check back for updates. Project documents submitted to the County can be found here.
Update #7: Milestone Towers will go before the Planning Commission on Tuesday, July 30th at 6:00pm.

Given the forecast of high winds Saturday, April 20th the balloon fly will take place on SUNDAY, APRIL 21st 8:00 am – 12:00 pm. Please feel free to pass this update along to any neighbors or interested parties.

DMB Engineering completed an electromagnetic (radio frequency) exposure analysis for the proposed tower site at Belmont Interchange. The report concludes that the tower, with Verizon Wireless and future wireless carriers installed, will be in compliance with the US federal human exposure limits by a wide margin. The PDF version of the report is available for review here.
